Covid-19, Is Vaccination Mandatory?
The subject that has not been on the agenda since the beginning of the pandemic process is vaccination. There are people who do not want to be vaccinated as well as those who want to have the COVID-19 vaccine. When talking about sanctions for people who don't want to be vaccinated, is the COVID-19 vaccine legally mandatory?
Before talking about the COVID-19 vaccine, let's consider the concept of the vaccine and its historical process. VACCINE; It is the injection of organisms that cause disease in humans and animals into the body with reduced disease effect. They are products (of biological origin) produced from living things, which enable the body to recognize these organisms and develop immunity before being sick. It is not applied to a sick person, but to a healthy person who has the possibility of contracting the disease.
We can give examples of epidemic diseases that the world is struggling with, such as smallpox, plague, scarlet fever (measles), cholera, diphtheria. Most of these diseases are now non-fatal, thanks to childhood vaccinations.
